I was having lunch with Dan Wee and Joycelyn at Dhoby Ghaut area. I noticed the small, yet prominent, english error. Or should i say, a deliberate attempt to the dish's description.

Should it be "FRIED SALMON SET", instead of " SALMON FRIED SET " ?

I am not mean towards the restaurant who set up this menu. But isn't it kinda misleading? Daniel and I were joking that maybe they leave the salmon aside and fry the whole set. Haha...

See it for yourself.

Children's mind

My mum told me about how smart my niece can be. Not only she's smart, but clever enough to understand what's happening in adult's world.

Dad passed away almost a year back. As a 3 years old kid then, all she can see is people weeping and mourning over my dad's departure. I am not so sure of how Claire's feelings will be. I guess she must be figuring out what's happening. Things like,

why mummy, grandma and uncles crying so hard?...Why grandpa seems so peaceful and silent?...

Till Sunday evening that i guess she break her silence. She asked her grandma,

" Po po... Gong Gong DISAPPEAR already right??...GONE right????"

Her grandma replied, smile gently," Who tell you this?...."

And here, i swear to God, No one ever actually tell her that my dad passed away.

Claire just blurted , " I MANAGED to think...."...

There, in my mum's room, she stared at my dad's photo, saying, " Hello , Gong Gong..."

Kids nowadays are so smart, smart enough to use " DISAPPEAR" AND " MANAGED" ....

I finally got my new shoes from PUMA. At a discounted price ! Was originally 91 dollars and thank God i walked into Royal Sporting House. Cause they have 20 percent off for PUMA shoes. I was so thrilled. My former PUMA shoes has a tear on the rubber strap. How sad, its barely a year since Jener bought it for me.

Nevertheless, i will try to cherish this pair of shoes. Jener Dear Dear keep saying that it looks like school shoes!

I was browsing through the advertisement section of the new paper today. I find it funny and amusing that how we can neglect such errors in reading. I guess for the person who put up this small advertisement, he must be feeling mad. After the hundreds of dollars spent putting up on the newspapers, there is still mistake.

By the way, are they looking for D-E-S-I-G-N-E-R-S?
Or is the " DESINGERS".... "DE-SINGERS" ?

Was down with flu and fever yesterday. The 'heatiness' within my body, accumulated from those late nights rushing.

I can't believe that i am still working despite my illness.

I thought it was really irritating at first, after the heavy publicity promotions about the DARK KNIGHT. Saying, " HEATH'S BEST PERFORMANCE EVER!!" I was wondering the effects and impact it has bring when using a dead person as a selling point to this movie.

After the quick ticket-booking online, i finally get to watch HELLBOY on friday and THE DARK KNIGHT on saturday.

Talk about the DARK KNIGHT, the show begins when the Joker rob the mob-owned bank, being the victor of the mobster in the end. I was proven wrong about the comments i made earlier. IT WAS HEATH LEDGER'S BEST ! I never see a person so fearless to transform into someone so different. His accents and expression do really speak so much of an extreme psychopath. Was reading about an article of how he experiment with the role of JOKER by locking himself up in a room for one month, letting himself loose in his head, studying different accents and behaviour.

The acting seems natural and it's not that kind of deliberate intent. It is as though Heath was really psychopath. After all, he sacrificed his life to this Joker role.

If last year's blockbuster was TRANSFORMER, i got to say THE DARK KNIGHT is this year's must watch movie.

What about HELLBOY? Sorry, i guess i am too impressed by Batman. Hellboy was another good movie, definitely better than the first part.

I can finally take a step back to relax ... just a bit...

I finishes my tender drawings. One whole week of non stop working, in fact , two weeks of non stop staring at my laptop.

For now, its the smaller scale projects that's keeping me busy now.

But thought the constant weariness, it's so much better than grumbling everyday about being jobless. Men can't be contented. When there's so much free time, we grumble. Now there's work to do, we grumble too. How ironic.

I can't wait to watch DARK KNIGHT. Jener found her new beau le. This guy is a bit toward theatrical and more darker than ever. ........haha

KIDMAN GIVES BIRTH TO SUNDAY ON A MONDAY.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. - As with most new parents, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban might have difficulty telling what day it is.

No matter. From here on out, they'll have a little Sunday every day.

The Oscar-winning actress and her country-star husband welcomed a baby girl on Monday, then named her after the day before.

"Earlier this morning Nic gave birth to our beautiful baby girl, Sunday Rose Kidman Urban," read the message posted on Urban's Web site. "We want to thank everybody that has kept us in their thoughts and prayers. We feel very blessed and grateful that we can share this joy with all of you today."

The first baby for Kidman and Urban, Sunday weighed 6 pounds, 7 1/2 ounces, according to Paul Freundlich, a publicist for the singer. There was no immediate explanation for the name, though one thing is certain: She'll never be upstaged by the likes of Suri, Apple, Moses, or Shiloh.

I feel so strange about having weird baby names. Like how Jessica Alba "honoured" their daughter as HONOR. Now this is even weirder. I think Nicole Kidman will never forget her daughter's birthday.

I can hardly imagine the so-called laughing stock she will have in her future years.

Teacher: There's no school on sundays, understand??!!

SUNDAY: I'm here!!!

MY CRIB

My works kept piling in. Like a snowball, i predicted that i will soon be crushed by it.

Glad that i am still ensuring the financial source going. But the bad part is that there are too many jobs coming in.

Deadlines are pressing in.

Remember my last entries about the messy table during the exam periods? I did a bit of tidying up and somehow, i wanna maintain this neatiness cause it makes my efficiency higher. In other words, i need a comfy environment to work!!

Just in case you guys are thinking where all the mess goes. Its under my table. And i have to make this space functional. I need a shelving unit soon.

Piles of lecture notes! And my sister's stuffs. For you girls out there, if you girls getting married, please move everything away from your own houses. haha.... please don't bully your little siblings!!

Looks like it needs another round of cleaning...

I was always amazed by how words can be so misinterpretated in the public's eyes. Sometimes it fails to catch our attention when we are occupied. But take a closer look and slowing your pace down, you might get to see interesting stuffs.

I had a BBQ session with my poly friends and i came across this signboard right above our pit.

For you guy's convenience, it says,

"PLEASE HELP TO KEEP OUR PREMISES FREE FROM FLIES, MOSQUITOES & OTHER INSECTS... ... DISPOSE WASTE ONLY INTO THE BIN PROVIDED

THANK YOU... "

I can't get it.

How to keep mosquitoes away where you are in a open space, near a forested area??!!!

He is not that dumb after all.

At least he is hardworking enough in interpretations and also analysing facts. He should get smarter in his moves as a top spy. He has created enough humour. Other than baring his butt in Gehry's walt disney concert hall.

I did not realise how lethal a swiss army knife can be. Maybe we can have a mini cross bow in it. And also flame thrower, so that hungey NS soldiers can cook noodles outfield without the trouble of starting up with solid fuel.
