I was doin some chores and while bringing the mop out to the outside for drying, i looked down and saw something "cruel"

A monkey was clipped onto a bamboo pole and it looks like he needs to be free.

Closer look....

A soft toy.

Looks funny and interesting at how my neighbour can do to make her soft toys smell nice and clean.

Few pointers that will make you WANT to watch this movie.

1) Angelina Jolie is still hot as ever! Still maintain her curves after Shiloh's birth. Baring her rear on the set will drive you nuts over her, and you were like, " BRAD PITT IS SUCH A FORTUNATE PERSON!!!..."

2) Stunts were damn damn.... cool! The car stunts that will make you breathless.

3) How you begin to shoot a gun differently from the others? You never realised that shooting can be as beauitful, like how you score the corner kick on soccer. Where the technique of 'curving' the ball direction.

4) In order to run an organisation illegally, you need a legal back-up. How smart can it be... Like gambling dens behind glass doors facade that says " FOOTBALL CLUB"

5) Being an assasin, you need to eat punches and kicks for breakfast. Then soak your bruised body in candle wax and you will start all over again in a hour.
Who needs a doctor in the house??!!

6) The stunts break all laws of physics. Since when you see such a powerful bullet, piercing through steels and human skulls, maintaining its velocity??!!

Mariah Carey's latest single describe the feelings and the emotions of a person who has gone on forever. And the pain of not saying "bye bye". How many times it happens in your life?

It happened once in my life. And i promise it will never take place again.

MARIAH CAREY - BYE BYE

This is for my peoples who just lost somebody
Your best friend, your baby, your man, or your lady
Put your hand way up high
We will never say bye (no, no, no)
Mamas, daddies, sisters, brothers, friends and cousins
This is for my peoples who lost their grandmothers
Lift your head to the sky 'cause we will never say bye

As a child there were them times
I didn't get it but you kept me in line
I didn't know why you didn't show up sometimes
It's something more than saying "I miss you"
But when we talked too
All them grown folk things
Separation brings
You never let me know it
You never let it show because
You loved me and obviously
There's so much more left to say
If you were with me today face to face

[Chorus:]
I never knew I could hurt like this
And everyday life goes on like
"I wish I could talk to you for awhile"
"I wish I could find a way try not to cry"
As time goes by
And soon as you reach a better place
Still I'll give the whole world to see your face
And I'm right here next to you
It feels like you gone too soon
The hardest thing to do is say bye bye

(Bye Bye [3x])
Bye bye

And you never got the chance to see how good I've done
And you never got to see me back at number one
I wish that you were here to celebrate together
I wish that we could spend the holidays together

I remember when you used to tuck me in at night
With the Teddy Bear you gave to me that I held so tight
I thought you were so strong
That you can make it through whatever
It's so hard to accept the fact you're gone forever

[Chorus]

(bye bye bye bye bye bye [3x])
Bye bye

This is for my peoples who just lost somebody
Your best friend, your baby, your man, or your lady
Put your hand way up high
We will never say bye (no, no, no)
Mamas, daddies, sisters, brothers, friends and cousins
This is for my peoples who lost their grandfather
Lift your head to the sky 'cause we will never say bye

[Chorus]

Came across this bizzare murder case, with a twist. Law and Order does has its own way of defining the real essence of murder.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"On 1994-03-23 a medical examiner viewed the body of Ronald Opus and concluded that he died from a gunshot wound of the head caused by a shotgun. Investigation to that point had revealed that the decedent had jumped from the top of a ten story building with the intent to commit suicide. (He left a note indicating his despondency.) As he passed the 9th floor on the way down, his life was interrupted by a shotgun blast through a window, killing him instantly. Neither the shooter nor the decedent was aware that a safety net had been erected at the 8th floor level to protect some window washers, and that the decedent would most likely not have been able to complete his intent to commit suicide because of this.

Ordinarily, a person who starts into motion the events with a suicide intent ultimately commits suicide even though the mechanism might be not what he intended. That he was shot on the way to certain death nine stories below probably would not change his mode of death from suicide to homicide, but the fact that his suicide intent would not have been achieved under any circumstance caused the medical examiner to feel that he had homicide on his hands.

Further investigation led to the discovery that the room on the 9th floor from whence the shotgun blast emanated was occupied by an elderly man and his wife. He was threatening her with the shotgun because of an interspousal spat and became so upset that he could not hold the shotgun straight. Therefore, when he pulled the trigger, he completely missed his wife, and the pellets went through the window, striking the decedent.

When one intends to kill subject A, but kills subject B in the attempt, one is guilty of the murder of subject B. The old man was confronted with this conclusion, but both he and his wife were adamant in stating that neither knew that the shotgun was loaded. It was the longtime habit of the old man to threaten his wife with an unloaded shotgun. He had no intent to murder her; therefore, the killing of the decedent appeared then to be accident. That is, the gun had been accidentally loaded.

But further investigation turned up a witness that their son was seen loading the shotgun approximately six weeks prior to the fatal accident. That investigation showed that the mother (the old lady) had cut off her son's financial support, and her son, knowing the propensity of his father to use the shotgun threateningly, loaded the gun with the expectation that the father would shoot his mother. The case now becomes one of murder on the part of the son for the death of Ronald Opus.

Now comes the exquisite twist. Further investigation revealed that the son was, in fact, Ronald Opus. He became increasingly despondent over the failure of his attempt to get his mother murdered. This led him to jump off the ten story building on March 23, only to be killed by a shotgun blast through a 9th story window.

The medical examiner closed the case as a suicide."

As mentioned above, the story of Ronald Opus is hypothetical.

Some old photos i took during my Poly days. A visit to the ARIES, this nice apartment off Yan Kit Road, Tanjong Pagar. Designed by Mok Wei Wei, it is actually a twin version of the PATERSON EDGE @ PATERSON ROAD.

The feature of this design is the rooftop swimming pool. Perhaps one of the first few buildings to have rooftop pools. Built before 2003, the idea was new then.

Did some arrangement to these photos and paste them onto some grey boards. But thinking where to put it....

on my drafting table, for the time being.... .... .... ....

Went own IKEA to look for a cabinet for my collection of architecture books and design magazines. And i did not know that the IKEA team ( or maybe the customers ) can be so creative and funny. I saw the display in the lobby area, i thought it was funny.... but going up to the children's section, it's the same layout.

This is what i saw and i thought it's cute... but the cuter one is actually at the back of it...

Dogs waiting for meal time!!!

Then walking down, interesting stuffs i saw...

Want money or life??!!!.... CHOOSE!!!... OR I'LL KILL YOU!!!!

"... Hey buddy, look at the colour of your fur.... ARE YOU ONE OF US??!!... FIND'A ROOM OF YOUR OWN.... STOP MESSING AROUND WITH THE BROWNS.... YOU GREY THING!!! .... "

haha...

what are you looking at?!?!

I can't believe there is racist people in Singapore.

I was boarding the east bound train this afternoon and sitting beside me are these 2 young guys. One of them is a American Chinese, suspected he's here on an exchange programme, and another guy is a local chinese, supposedly an undergraduate.

I named them "ABC" and "Singaporean" in this article.

"ABC" and "Singaporean" were chatting away, talking about podcasts and transportations in singapore and other stuffs. "ABC"'s strong american accent was so prominent that he has no idea how many commuters were staring at him. Then these 2 guys started to talk about examination grades and modules. So here it goes...

"ABC" : man, how much you get for your math module?

"Singaporean" : Hmmm... a 'F' grade, fail.... ( replying back with an unusual american-imitated tone... )

"ABC" : Dude, thats so lousy! Are you asian??!!

"Singaporean" : Why say that??

"ABC" : i thought ASIAN SHOULD BE VERY GOOD IN MATHS??!!...

I was grossed out by what he said. . . .

S E X A N D T H E C I T Y

I was initially not keen in watching this movie because the feeling of walking into a cinema, without knowing the background of the sex and the city story. Till i realised that this show isn't that bad after all.

Throughout the 145 minutes of the show, girls will grasped over women carrying Gucci, Prada, Louis Vitton accessories. Most importantly, Carrie's huge walk-in closet, which my dear dear always wanted. She emphasis the size of the closet for our future house and want it much bigger than the movie set. Haha...

What else?

Penthouse suite??... yup, dream house baby!

I love the way how fashion can be so representative in portraying New York City. After all, NYC is about label and sex. Lots of label. Even more sex. New York City, apart from its groomy dark alleys that i remembered, can be very seductive. These four girls added so much vibrancy in the show and it is not just brands that show it all, but the attitude of NYC is right in front of our eyes.

I mean where can you get this in Singapore. People will definitely stare weirdly at you if you don a big flower dress along City hall.

So how influential can it be? Just imagine what will it be like in singapore....?

SEX AND THE (LION) CITY.

1. You will start seeing group of 4 girls hanging around in coffeeshop during lunch time, talking about politics. 4 aunties... i think

2. Group of 4 girls in schools, bitching around, trying to make their newly-bought branded stuffs prominent on their bodies. Ka-ching!!....

3. 4 ladies start to head down beaches and start staring at beach hunks, doubtful of his sexuality.

The trend of "gang of 4".....

Dear dear, no offence .... haha.... realised the "gang of 4" concept had started way long time back!!!.... HAHAHAHA

Sometimes when you are so much in your own comfort zone, you tend to take all things for granted.

Till you lose it, you realised that you are regretting.

Be it your career, or your friendships.

I experienced these past week. A week earlier, i thought i am fortunate enough to believe i have a good project to follow up. It is a regional hotel project. When all of sudden, the project came to a halt and there is nothing i can do. No income coming in.

You should have see the expression on my face , man!! I was shocked and panicky at the moment when i realised i have to look for a job soon!!

Job-hunting began early this week and ended yesterday when Jener's office asked me for "discussion". Strange right?.... don't he should say "interview" ????????

I am relieved.....

The great Singapore sale seeing myself hanging around those branded shop. Went Gucci, Louis Vitton, Burberry, Dior, and lastly, dinner at Bakerzin. So tempted to buy a 1100 dollars Gucci tote bag. Sale item la! Haha.... Attracted to this burberry wallet worth 350 dollars. haha

Guess what?
This is jener's birthday present.... from who?....
i think she know the person very very well.

I began to ponder on so much issues about this movie in relation to Christianity. After all, C.S Lewis wrote this novels entirely on the mind set of portrayal of a Christian.

I realised that Peter, in the movie start to lose confidence in himself, having the fact that he can't win the battle without Aslan the lion. Used to be King of Narnia, he lost his own sense of direction.

I began to question ,

is modern day christians rely TOO MUCH on God?

This is the only question that allows my thinking cap to activate after the show.

You should watch Prince Caspian. Its a lot better than the previous book. At least , more action sequence.
