Not even halfway to the top... already have nice views... hehe
Ok... we still hoping for a "capsule office"

Design CRIT on thursday was not an ideal one. Peter was skeptical about my "over-concept" and Ling Hao remains monotone about it. Though Ling Hao's suggestion were rather constructive, i think nothing has interest him that day.
WHAT SAMURAI??!!...
My urban panels are causing me so much headaches over the week and using only two days to complete my panels. I am partially relieved by it.
2 more weeks to final submission, slightly less than a month to exam. I think some forget there is exam.
"HELLO....?? .... guys .... exams??!!..."

Its now 6am, monday morning... and i am still awake...
Just completed my model... a lousy one for the sake of Peter's eyes... guess i should just stay awake till 9am, afraid that i will overslept...
Still got urban submission on wednesday and design interim critique session on thursday. Ling Hao is heading the firing squad...

Architect firm sues 3 interior designers for breach of contract

A WELL-KNOWN architectural firm has sued three interior designers for breaching their employment contracts by moonlighting.
But the defendants insist that they were not employees but instead, had gone into a profit-sharing business venture with Ong & Ong Architects.
The defendants are also counter-claiming about $230,000 for what they say is their share of the profits under the arrangement.
The case opened in the High Court on Monday, with the company's chairman and director, Mr Ong Tze Boon, 39, as the first witness.
Mr Ong is the second son of late President Ong Teng Cheong, who founded the firm in 1972 with his wife Siew May.
The lawsuit is brought by Ong & Ong Architects and its interior design and landscaping arm Ong & Ong.
The three-year relationship between the architectural firm and the defendants started amicably, the court heard.
In 2003, Mr Ong approached Mr Leslie Seow, who was then partners with Ms Rachel Yee at a small interior design firm, Six Planes & Partners (SPP).
This was part of a plan to acquire small companies and hire specialists so that the firm can provide integrated services, including interior design and landscaping.
Ong & Ong was then set up to carry out the non-architectural services.
The plaintiffs' lawyer, Senior Counsel Philip Jeyaretnam, said in his opening statement that Mr Seow, Ms Yee, Mr Ridzuan Sarbini signed employment letters and were paid fixed salaries and CPF and given leave entitlements and various benefits.
He said Ms Yee and Mr Seow agreed to stop doing business under SPP but it was agreed that their firm would continue to exist to collect money earned earlier. Mr Ridzuan was hired in March 2004.
But the trio allegedly surreptitiously provided services on their own and used the plaintiffs' resources for these moonlighting activities.
Mr Seow and Ms Yee were fired when the firm discovered the alleged moonlighting at the end of 2006. Mr Ridzuan resigned around the same time.
The trial continues before Justice Belinda Ang.

TOKYO (AFP) - - Men who sleep fewer than five hours a night run greater risks of becoming obese and of having high levels of blood sugar that could lead to diabetes, a Japanese study showed.
Lack of sleep triggers a hormone in the blood which stimulates the appetite, said the study's lead author, Nihon University medical department associate professor Yoshitaka Kaneita.
"It increases a sense of hunger as well as an appetite for high-calorie food," he said Thursday, calling for people to pay due attention to how much they sleep.
His study, released Wednesday, looked at 21,693 men in 1999 and followed up to see how they were doing in 2006.
Men who were not fat in 1999 were 1.36 times more likely to become obese if they slept fewer than five hours a night on average over the next seven years compared with men who slept more.
Short-sleepers were also 1.27 times more likely to have high blood-sugar levels.

Heard of a Nazi officer named Stauffenberg, who plotted to assasinate Hitler towards the end of WW2. Am intriguied by the content of the movie version.
