FRIES ART

Is it just purely art?

Or is it just conveying the unhealthy statement once again, after the Super Size Me movie...?

After watching this, you could just imagine how much oil in a large pack of fries, enough to form an image!

In my entire life, i seldom stay up for the whole night. Except the chalet nights that friends will hang around to talk crap, in order to keep themselves awake. But now, i am staying up just to complete most of my school work. My eyes are heavy, but still managed to stay awake.

I found this video very interesting and i already wanna share it with you guys for a long time.
The idea of treadmill is further explored and i never expect the result is so cool!

School is going to start very very soon...

Should i feel excited?... or fearful?

I must have feeling so nostalgic. Back to the same premises and also to the same routine, where daniel yuan said, sleepless nights plenty a week to handle. Grumpy faces greeting me around the school. The kind of agony i have to endure.

But looking on the bright side... ...

Had a great time at the men's fellowship last night. Sharing and pouring out all our probelms and holding accountability to one another. The session was great ...

Sec 5 class advised: Go to ITE instead

I was reading the papers 10 minutes ago and i came across the main article on the HOME section of Strait times. The headline above "shocks" me. In it, it reported a certain secondary school principal telling a secondary 5 class to go straight to ITE instead of continuing O level. Flashing detailed report cards on an overhead projector and telling the students that they won't do well in their O levels and recommended them to go ITE instead.

I was, at once, filled with anger and unfairness within myself. I read further.
The principal was then interviewed by the press and she implied that that is a wake up call imposed on the students as a source of motivation.

I was like, "typical !!" It is just so lame.

I have the temptation to write a comment to the press about it. But afraid of the limelight i will be into.

It is just the new start of a school year and students have more time to prepare for the O levels. I FIND IT SO UNFAIR THAT THE WORDS DAMPEN THE CONFIDENCE OF THE STUDENTS! SIMPLY, YOU JUST JUMP INTO A CONCLUSION ! As a principal, it;s important to find out the faults of students. Since they pass their N level, they are ellgible to be in a secondary 5 level. ThEY Are capable of doing O levels and yet the words implied will cause their spirits to crumble.

I remembered when i get my PSLE results, it was not a good one and in the whole cohort of about 170 students, only 19 got into the Normal Academic and Technical stream. I WAS ONE OF THE 19. The principal of my primary school, instead of encouraging all of us, she ignored the 19 students. To her, she thinks we did not fare well! Normal stream is just as good as fail!...

I am from a secondary 5 level and i understand how much motivation is needed for doing O level. Its not a easy step to advance. I understand in studies, the feeling of being crumbled and bringing yourself up again.

I don't see the " wake up call " a good source of motivation. I just find it very lame and i hope the school will help the students who need a guidance to prepare for the O levels. It is not wise to comdemn students and brand them a ITE student.

I have friends who came all the way from Normal Technical stream, towards ITE , excel in Polytechnic and now currently NUS student.

Last movie of 2007

The clash of the titans.

This time, comes with more gore and bloody fights and aliens gobbling up humans. This is confirmed scarier and more intensive than the first part.

The sequel bring to the first part of AVP where a new breed of alien is born. With the body and the agility of a predator , with the head of an alien that bores the fangs of the predator. He is mean and nasty!

Humans are caught in the middle of the war. But however, we are in the middle of the extra-terrestial food chain. Its pretty scary just to imagine.

The last day of 2007 was pretty occupied by this movie. Catch the fireworks around city hall with Jener was the very last moment to end 2007, with a bang!...
