My near-good LUCK

Playing alongside with a thing called LUCK... Something that can boost you, and also something that can pull you down the pit.

Was playing blackjack at a relative's place that i struggled to keep my precious bucks 'alive' and hoping that i can win back what i lost. Having that bad experience at the Auckland Casino and thus having this sense of fear. I am the kind of people that would not risk a deal...

16...
17...
16... 17...
Then at times, it just went " BOOM!"... too much luck ya?...

Then after a long drag, a few 21 points came out... thought you are back in the race... but seeing yourself lost what you win is really painful.
And all the more you wanna be hungry for winning...
And eating loser for dinner...

THe heart of a "gambler" is fatal... especially the mentality of it... THe behaviour, the actions.
THat's the case... Singapore is still wanting to stay clean, despite the upcoming Casino...

Donuts

One thing that i must realise ... it's nice to see how locals will behave when involving in long queues.
Chances of turning it into a nasty experience can be very high. Years back, when the Hello Kitty craze was high and even people fight, literally, for the set toy which is worth less than 10 bucks.
Also, every CNY of the years, people queue for bak gua and sometimes get themselves into unpleasant sights and incidents.

JUst last week, the second day i touched down from New Zealand, some premonition told me that i wanna go get some donuts for Jener so that she can eat it after work. Found myself queuing up for the donuts at raffles city. Have you guys seem the long queue outside donut factory?... The queue that make jaws drop and finding yourself grasp in amazement. You can't simply figure out what's so good about these donuts?...

Being a impatient man all the time, Jener should know me well, i actually queue up for that. First hour passed and i occupied myself with my mp3 player and my novel book. Two hours passed and i am near the counter... i told myself that i would never involved in such long "challenges"... So after more than 2 hours, i got two dozen of donuts, with a sense of achievement... THat i made it!

And the donut's taste?... ITS GOOD...

But that's not the donut that i wanna get detailed into. What i find it amazing is that strangers that queue up within started to talk with each other. During the "ordeal", there's this lady that starts talking with me, almost any topic that we can find, including the donuts. I looked back to the line of people and behind me is this group of working adults talked with an undergraduate.

THe nicer side of Singaporeans, once again...
